Biles will firmly support the Chicago Bears’ defender instead of mingling with Swift
Simone Biles said she doesn’t expect to become friends with Taylor Swift in the near future because you “don’t bond with opponents” as the gymnast dates the Chicago Bears’ Jonathan Owens whilst the Eras Tour star dates the Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce.
As far as partners of football players go, it doesn’t get much bigger than Swift or Biles, an 11-time Olympic gold medalist and fans are eager to see if the famed pair can strike up a chemistry in the stands.
However the 27-year-old athlete warned this might not happen as she headed to the premiere of her Netflix docuseries, Simone Biles Rising: Part 2, on Wednesday, October 23 in Los Angeles, California.
“I’m currently on tour so unfortunately not,” Biles said to Access Hollywood of meeting Swift. “I’ve missed a lot of games but as soon as we finish tour then yes.
“But you usually don’t bond with opponents.”

With the popstar resuming her Eras Tour, which is ongoing at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans from October 25-27 before heading to the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis from November 1-3, she’s fully booked up until December
Whilst Biles is currently embarking on her Gold Over America Tour (GOAT) and is penned to a strict schedule herself. Additionally, the Chiefs do not play the Bears in the regular season meaning it’s very unlikely for them to be in the same place at the same time.
A second added, “That’s awesome! Would love to see a Simone and Taylor friendship blossom. Two incredible talents supporting each other.”
And a third commented, “queens admiring & supporting other queens from afar? PEAK. this is the best friendship I need to see happen, esp knowing that @Simone_Biles included a full @taylorswift13 tribute in the GOAT tour.”
